Linda Hampton Smith received her B.A. in Studio Art from Adelphi University. She continued her studies with Parsons School of Design in both Paris and the Dordogne region of France. She later studied at the Art Students League. Linda was a hand-colorist of antique engravings at the Phyllis Lucas Gallery in Manhattan and has taught art in public and private schools. She currently owns and operates an art restoration studio with her husband, Randy.
Linda sells her French-themed paintings at French heritage festivals and in local shops and galleries. Her work is in collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She and her family live in the foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains.
